Israel's northernmost hospital

One of the future Jewish State first hospitals, the 350 beds, 22 intensive care beds, 47 medical departments and seven operating theaters was founded in 1910 playing a very important role in dealing with the Tuberculosis epidemic in those days.

From a small clinic for the Jews of the city of Sefad the hospital grew into the modern university medical center that it is today, a facility with research laboratories, a nursing school and sophisticated medical devices and specialized equipment.
